I'd seen pictures of these before, both photoshopped and real. I have a slight obsession with roses, especially in odd colours. [My favourite being blue because of an old Arabian Nights movie my dad showed me as a child]

So naturally when I found a bouquet containing one of these in the Byward Market, I had to buy it. It's now hanging in my mother's kitchen because I hate throwing flowers away.

Well that's cool! Looks like you needed more light though, so you wouldn't have to use 800 ISO (which makes it noisy).

no way can you get all those brilliant colours onto something thats natural...

Yeah, it's dyed. You can get colours like that in nature, but not usually all on the same plant :)
